I am such an obviously amateur blogger! Short and sweet today, just wanted to show off the stamp I just finished for use in Lorelai's baby album ;)

Lorelai in 4D!
We have been getting weekly ultrasounds since I am a high risk momma, to make sure growth and movement and umbilical cord are good. It is pretty nice to have reassurance that the little cupcake is baking along good! This week she was so smooshed up against the uterus that the tech couldn't get a good picture with the regular ultrasound equiptment so she switched to the 4D and got us this lovely shot! It was incredible to see her so clearly! Both her daddy and I were teared up, and were doing more OOHs and AAHs than a kid at a fireworks show.

And We're Off!
Got my first stamps listed tonight on both Etsy and Artfire! It is so exciting just to finally have it started and have things going!
We have been experimenting with different carving materials since my all time favorite, White PZ Cut is not available right now. Hoping that the one woman show that is http://www.stampeaz.com/ has it available again soon! Great shop though, be sure to check her out, fast shipping, great customer service, and wonderful products!
Here are a few stamps that we have carved on the good ol white stuff :-)

Big Wheels Keep On Turning
I have been a long time browser and shopper of Etsy, it amazes me how creatively inclined and gifted so many sellers are on there! I have wanted to set up my own little shop there for quite some time, and am so glad to finally be able to have my own little spot in such a crafty community! Today I designed a banner and set up the basic info for the shop. Next comes taking the photos of the stamps, and typing out the details! I am so excited to have gotten things in motion~!!
I have been carving for a few years now, and it is an obsession! I can take it with me anywhere and always be able to find time to squeeze in a slice here and a sliver there off of whatever the current stamp image may be. It is so relaxing for me! Not to mention it satisfies my inability to just sit still, so it is great to do while watching movies and TV! It is also great that my other half enjoys carving too, as do both of my sons, so we can all hang out and carve together :) Hopefully the bun baking in the oven will enjoy it as well, when she is old enough to handle the gouge without putting it in her mouth, of course.
I began carving when I found my other addiction, letterboxing. If you haven't heard of it, check it out....atlasquest.com is the major hub for the fun.
